STAYHIGH 149 MEMORIAL

Recently, we had the sad news that Wayne Roberts aka STAYHIGH 149, essential crew member EXPERIENCED-VANDALS, died across the pond.

We pay a modest tribute here to one of those kids in the late 60′s, whose defiance and obsessive be seen, contributed to manifest in a direct way the voice of the ghetto. Stayhigh Notably, in the vein of  writers like Mico and Coco144 was one of the few pioneers of political power subliminally aware that dotted their cans.

As explained in the brief interview that we offer, their contributions were highlighted: from classical figurative appropriation of mass media-its famous icon of the series The Saint, who later would collect as Dondi-teachers, “the invention “the two-colored tags and above the fact of joining the crucial leap in the scale of the pieces in the history of Graffiti and offer, and in early 1973, several precursors of the first examples of top-to-bottoms.

From here we launched a big hug for him and his family, we continue to enjoy its magic!
